Refund and Returns Policy

We are committed to ensuring you are satisfied with your purchase from Resonator Books, LLC. We offer a 30-day return policy for most items.

1. RETURN TIME WINDOW

You have 30 days from the date your order is delivered to request a return.

2. HOW TO INITIATE A RETURN (MANDATORY PROCESS)

To start a return, you must contact us first at [email protected].

  • Step 1: Email us with your Order Number and the “Reason for Return.”

  • Step 2: We will review your request. If your return is accepted, we will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and the correct physical return address.

  • Step 3: Please do NOT send your item back to our legal/administrative address.

IMPORTANT: Our legal address (5525 Oakdale Ave. Suite 155, Woodland Hills, CA) is an administrative office and CANNOT accept any returns or packages. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return, or sent to our administrative address, will not be accepted and will not be eligible for a refund.

3. ELIGIBILITY & CONDITION OF RETURNED ITEMS

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following criteria:

  • The item must be in the same condition that you received it.

  • For books, this means unread, unused, with no bent pages or damage, and in its original condition.

  • Items must be in their original packaging (if any).

4. NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on:

  • Final sale items

  • Gift cards

5. REASON FOR RETURN & SHIPPING COSTS

  • A. Customer Choice (e.g., changed mind, ordered by mistake): If you are returning an item for reasons of personal choice, you (the customer) will be responsible for paying your own return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping method (see “Return Method” below).

  • B. Damaged or Defective Products (Our Error): If you receive an item that is defective, damaged, or if we sent you the wrong item, please contact us immediately (within 7 days of delivery) with your order number and a photo of the issue. In these cases, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label or arrange a replacement/refund at no cost to you.

6. RESTOCKING FEE

We want to make returns simple. We do NOT charge any restocking fees on accepted returns.

7. REFUND PROCESSING TIME

Once our fulfillment partner receives and inspects your returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be automatically processed to your original payment method. Please allow 3-5 business days for the refund to appear on your bank or credit card statement.

8. EXCHANGE POLICY

Due to our fulfillment model (shipping directly from publisher warehouses), we do not offer direct exchanges.

The fastest way to ensure you get the item you want is to return the item you have (per the process above) and, once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

9. ORDER CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS

You may request an order change or cancellation within 12 hours of placing your order. Please email [email protected] immediately.

After 12 hours, your order may have already been sent to our fulfillment partner for processing, and at that point, we can no longer cancel it.

10. REFUSED OR UNDELIVERABLE PACKAGES

Packages that are “Refused” by the recipient or returned to us as “Undeliverable” (due to an incorrect address provided by the customer) will be processed as a return. You will be refunded for the product price, minus the original shipping fee.

11. LOST, STOLEN, OR “DELIVERED” BUT NOT RECEIVED

We are not responsible for packages that are marked as “Delivered” by the carrier (e.g., USPS) but are lost or stolen from your property. Please ensure you have a secure delivery location. If your package is lost in transit (not marked as delivered), please contact us so we can investigate.

12. ISSUE RESOLUTION TIME

We are committed to resolving all issues (like damaged goods or return requests) promptly. We aim to respond to all inquiries and provide a resolution path within 5-7 business days of you contacting us.
